William J. "Buck" West

William J. "Buck" West, 91, of West Brookfield died peacfully on Monday, September 19, 2022 at his home.



He leaves his wife, Gail M. (Lathrop) West of West Brookfield; a step-son, Steven A. Sutter of Warren; a step-daughter, Donna Cote and her husband James of Granby; as well as a sister, Mary Lafleur of South Hadley, and several nieces and nephews.  He also leaves two daughters, a son, and several grandchildren. William was born in Holyoke, son of the late John E. and Ruth (Guerrien) West.



Buck served as a Firefighter for the City of Holyoke.  He was a dedicated father and husband.



Mr. West was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean War.



At his request, funeral services for Buck will be held privately.
