Warren - William D. Girouard, 88, of Warren passed away at home on Friday, January 14, 2022 with his loving wife Marie at his side. He was born on September 5, 1933 to the late Clarence and Florence Girouard at their home in West Warren.
He leaves his wife of 37 years, Marie O. (Fountain) Girouard; his brother, Dennis and his wife Joan of Florida; his brother-in-law and lifelong friend, Milton R. Fountain and brother-in-law, Clifford G. Fountain as well as several cousins and many nieces and nephews.
William graduated from Warren High School in 1951 and College of the Holy Cross in 1955. He served in the United States Navy from 1956 to 1959.
He was an avid reader and a loyal Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan.
A Funeral Mass for Bill will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 11AM in St. Paul's Church, 1060 Main Street in Warren. There are no Calling Hours. Burial will be in the spring in St. Paul's Cemetery in Warren. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Second Chance Animal Shelter, Inc., 372 North Main Street, North Brookfield, MA, 01535 or secondchanceanimals.org
