Obituary

William ( Bill) H. Adels, 91, of Spencer, MA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 with his family by his side. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years Marjeanne (Stanton) Adels; his daughters: Susan Medine and her husband John of CT and Nancy Blood and her husband Gerry of NC; his grandchildren: Gabriel Medine and his wife Sarah of Worcester, Christa Medine and her husband Sean Condon of CO, Stephanie Medine and her husband Daniel Baker of Webster, Caleb Blood of NC, Lisa Kim and her husband Yohan of NC, Melody Rutz and her husband Xavier of NC, Tiffany Atwood and her husband Preston of WY, Natalie Blood of NC and Jeannette Adels of TX; his great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Sadie, Levi, Hannah, Claire, Emma, Asher, Ella, Tucker, Roland and Miles; his sister Kathleen Shoger and her husband Maurice of AZ; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his children: Richard Adels, Thomas Adels and Heather Robinson and his siblings: Jeannette Brucher, Erna Strash, Dorothea Wall and Henry Adels, Jr.

Bill was born and raised in Wyckoff, NJ, the son of the late Henry and Gertrude (Priess) Adels. He graduated from Pompton Lakes High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology. He and Marjeanne married in 1956 and moved their young family to Princeton, MA . He worked for Norton Company in Worcester many years until his retirement. Bill enjoyed music, gardening, landscaping, singing in the church choir, and traveling. All who knew Bill will miss him dearly.

All are invited to Celebrate Bill’s Life on June 19 at 11AM at Greenville Baptist Church, 674 Pleasant Street, Rochdale, MA 01542. A private burial will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery, Spencer, MA. on a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's memory may be made to: Samaritan’s Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607
