West Brookfield - William R. King, 85, of West Brookfield died on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center.
He leaves his sister, Pearl M. Witt of Barre; his sister- in-law, Nancy Ciccia of Harwich as well as his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara (Dembski) King in 2019. He was born in Ware, son of the late William F. and Mildred (Nichols) King.
William worked as a heavy equipment operator for Northeast Contractors in Ludlow, the Local 4 and Borggaard Construction Corp. in North Grafton. He was also a former member of the West Brookfield Fire Department.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish in West Brookfield.
A Funeral Mass for William will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 10am in Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church, 22 West Main Street in West Brookfield. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in West Brookfield following mass. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
