West Warren - Albert "Al" J. Theberge, 86, of West Warren died on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Baystate Wing Hospital.
He leaves his two daughters, Barbara Allen of Monson and Gail Sledziewski and her wife Mary Jane Adam of West Warren; his grandchildren, Sharon Sledziewski and her companion, Gary Voorhis and Joseph T. Sledziewski, Jr., and his wife Christine; four great-grandchildren, Dean, Cory, Kyle and Jack; one great great-granchild, Emma; his brother, Royal Theberge of Kingston, his two sisters, Beverly Hibbard of Warren, and Helen Mesick of West Palm Beach, FL., as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased his son Randy Theberge and his wife June E. (Reim) Theberge. He was born in Ware, son of the late Albert J. and Helen A. (Van Wagner) Theberge.
Al worked as an Assembler at Warren Pumps for 24 years, before retiring in 1997.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
He was a member of member of George Whitefield United Methodist Church where he was also the custodian for many years, he was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in West Warren.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 11AM in the George Whitefield United Methodist Church in West Brookfield. Calling hours will be held from 9 to 10:30AM in the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main Street, West Brookfield prior to the service. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Warren. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the George Whitefield United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 576, West Brookfield, MA, 01585.
