Amy May (Bezio) Wojcik, 78, of Belchertown, died on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.
She leaves her loving husband, Randall M. Wojcik, with whom she shared over 58 years together. Her daughter, Lynn Dubour and husband Gerald of Ludlow; son, Kevin Wojcik of Ware; daughter Lisa Stickney and husband Scott of Palmer; two grandchildren, Jacquelyn and Jonathan Dubour, and her beloved cat, Molly. She also leaves her two sisters, Therese Malboeuf and husband Philip, and Rose Marie Leeman and husband Norris; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Amy was born in Ware, daughter of the late Ralph R. and Rita (Bourgeault) Bezio.
Amy worked as an Administrative Assistant and Office Manager for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for both the Department of Developmental Services and the Department of Mental Health throughout her career. Around home, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and always had a pet close by to love as well.
She was best known for the beautiful cakes she made for many people especially for all family celebrations. Her grandchildren will miss the birthday cookie cakes she made with love for them each year. She loved cooking for the holidays and was always trying out a new recipe that she found in one of her many cookbooks. Amy enjoyed traveling with her husband, family and close friends. She loved going to the casino with her husband to play video poker and playing Bingo at Foxwoods.
She was a member of All Saint's Church in Ware.
A Funeral Mass for Amy will be held on Monday, November 15th at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church, 17 North St., in Ware. There are no calling hours and everyone is asked to meet at the church. Burial will be in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery following the mass.
