West Warren - Daniel L. Beaudry, 78, of West Warren, died on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, at Vero Health and Rehabilitation of Wilbraham.
He leaves his wife, Virginia T. (Ball) Beaudry, his sons, Tyler, Gary, and Michael Wheeler; his daughter, Christine Delisle and her husband James; three brothers, Francis, John and Elroy Beaudry; and three sisters, Nancy Brown, Linda Murphy, and Donna Mundy. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Beaudry, Sr., and his sister, H. Frances Hicks. He also leaves granddaughters, Jolene Phillips, Nadine and Bridgette Delisle and Brittany Wheeler; his grandson and Godson, Garrette Daniel Wheeler, three great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews and his Goddaughter, Danielle Lukasiewicz. He was born in Ware, son of the late Francis H. and Helen D. Mara Beaudry.
Danny started his career as a truck driver at Beaudry Trucking. He then worked for Palmer Paving for over 35 years. More recently, he drove for Samek Trucking and Tetreault & Son Forest Management. With his reputation as an excellent driver, Danny was still receiving job offers from local trucking companies this past year. He was a member of the Champeau-Vilandre American Legion Post 109 in Fiskdale for 51 years, and an honorary member of Saint Stan’s Polish Club in West Warren. He was very proud of his home and yard, and always enjoyed working on projects to keep it looking nice.
Danny cherished spending time with his family and friends. He had a big heart and fun-loving nature. He always had a joke to tell and loved teasing everyone he met. Everywhere he went he would meet someone he knew. Danny will live on in the hearts of many.
Mr. Beaudry is a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
A Graveside Service for Daniel with Military Honors will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 1:30pm in Pine Grove Cemetery in West Brookfield. In accordance with the current COVID-19 MA guidelines, masks must be worn while in the cemetery and social distancing guidelines must be followed. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans National Foundation, P.O. Box 2005, Milford, NH 03055-2005.
