Shortly after high school, Mr. Terry enlisted in the United States Navy, and served on the U.S.S. David had a deep love for his entire family. He was also an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed going to Nantucket, rabbit hunting with his friends. He was a life-long member of the Brookfield Rod & Gun Club where he served as President for many years and participated in or oversaw most of the improvements and renovations to the club. He was a long-time member of the New England Beagle Club, and running his beagles in the woods was one of his most enjoyable hobbies.
