Dolores R. (Blomberg) Vasil

West Brookfield - Dolores Rose (Blomberg) Vasil, 93, of West Brookfield, died on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus.

She leaves her son, John Craig Vasil and his wife Jennifer of West Brookfield; four daughters, Charlotte Margaret Vasil, Lydia Vasil Lapierre and Eileen Vasil Sykes and her husband Daniel, all of West Brookfield, as well as Priscilla Vasil Larchian and her husband William of Cleveland, OH; eleven grandchildren, Michael Lapierre and his wife Lindsay, Will and Tess Larchian, Johnny, Mary, Samuel, Audrey, and Grace Vasil, and Maggie Vasil-Umans and her husband Ari, and Danny and Bella Sykes, as well as two great-grandchildren, Finley and Maeve Lapierre. She was predeceased by her husband John Francis in 2010.  She was born in Bridgeport, CT, daughter of Henry and Charlotte (Mullins) Blomberg and was one of 10 siblings. 

John and Dolores were married for 60 years. They raised their family in Trumbull, CT and moved to Massachusetts owning the Top Hat Restaurant in West Brookfield for 21 years, from 1979 to 2000.

Services for Dolores will be held privately with burial alongside John at the Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull, CT.  A Catholic Mass and celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
