Doris L. Mongeau

Ware - Doris L.  Mongeau, 80, of Ware died on Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Life Care Center of Wilbraham.

She leaves her two daughters, Beverly A. Zwirecki and her husband Edward of West Warren, and Gail Taft and her life partner Tito Medina of Holyoke; her son, Gerald P. Mongeau and his wife Debra of Agawam; two brothers, Leo Hebert and his wife Janie, and Donald Charboneau and his wife Donna; as well as five grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her late husband of 57 years, Homer M. Mongeau in 2015.  She was born in Ware, daughter of the late Lawrence and Lucille (Bergeron) Hebert and was a life-long resident of Ware.

Mrs. Mongeau worked at the former William E. Wright Co. in West Warren for over 25 years, before retiring in 2001.

Doris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She enjoyed gardening around her home, and visiting her family in Vermont.  She also loved watching football games, expecially the New England Patriots. 

A Graveside Service for Doris will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 11:00AM in Our Lady of the Mount Carmel Cemetery in Ware.  There are no calling hours, and everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery.  Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St., in Ware is assisting her family with arrangements.
