Dwight E. Kruckas

Ware - Dwight E. Kruckas, 70, of Ware died on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in West Brookfield.

He leaves his loving son and long-time caregiver, Keith Kruckas of Ware; his brother, Joseph Kruckas and his wife Evelyn of Mound, MN; his sister, Donna and her husband Tom Harder of Las Vegas, NV;  his grandson, Joshua Prouty of Hardwick as well as his several nieces.  He was born in Ware, son of the late Frances and Angelina (Cirelli) Kruckas. Dwight grew-up in Barre.

Dwight was a Construction Superintendent at Forte Brothers Construction for several years.

He loved music, classic cars and drag racing, but he’ll mostly be remembered by his sense of humor and his gift of laughter.

Dwight suffered serious injuries in an motor vehicle accident in 1991.  His family would like to thank the dedicated caregivers, who showed so much compassion in their caring for him throughout the years.  Also to the staff and nurses at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center for the last 4 years while Dwight was in their care.

At the request of his family, a Graveside Service for Dwight will be held in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Barre at later date.

Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., in West Brookfield is assisting his family with arrangements.
