Elizabeth A. (Seamon) Baldyga

North Brookfield - Elizabeth A. (Seamon) Baldyga, 94, of North Brookfield died peacefully on Friday, December 24, 2021 at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center.

She leaves her long time companion, Val Pereira; her children,  Michael J. Baldyga, Patty Budnik, Margaret Waugh and her husband Walter and Kathryn Baldyga; her grandchildren, Chad Waugh and his wife Jessica, Jaime Perez and her husband Brad, Kelsey Waugh, Matthew Irwin, Ryan Irwin, Eric Irwin; her great-grandchildren, Kacie,  Owen, Elijah, Lucas and Bailey as well as her sister-in-law, Judy Seamon.  She was predeceased by her niece, Christine Seamon, her brother, Robert Seamon, her sister, Mary (Seamon) Brittel and her former husband, Chester Baldyga.  She was born in Clinton, daughter of the late Alexander J. and Kathryn (Clapp) Seamon.

Elizabeth worked for many businessness in the area as a secretary, office adminstrator, and switchboard operator before retiring.  She then opened and operated Betty B Bus Tours that traveled all over the New England area stopping at restaurants and tourist desinations.   

She was a Brownie leader and also was the director of a Girl Scout Camp in the area.  She loved bowling and playing golf. 

A Celebration of Life for Elizabeth will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 1-4pm at the Sawyer-Mathieu-Kearns American Legion Post 41, 163 N. Main Street in North Brookfield.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to North Brookfield Senior Center, 29 Forest Street, North Brookfield, MA, 01535.

Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., in West Brookfield is assisting her family with arrangements.
