Faith E. (Hart) O'Keefe

West Warren - Faith E. (Hart) O'Keefe, 85, of West Warren, died on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at her home following a brief illness.

She leaves her husband of over 60 years, Michael J. “Mickey” O'Keefe; two daughters,  Dorrinda O'Keefe-Shea and her husband Edward and Sharon Larocque and her husband Paul; three sons,  Michael J. O'Keefe, Jr. and Cindy O’Keefe, Robert O'Keefe and his wife Lisa, and Jon O'Keefe; five grandchildren, Michael P. O’Keefe and his wife Mindy, Joseph O’Keefe and his wife Melanie, and Jocelyn O’Keefe-Major and her husband Andy, Colby Larocque and his wife Meghan and Shawn Moreau; seven great-grandchildren,  Joseph, Jason and Brogan O’Keefe, Kayleigh Young and Dalton Larocque,  Aaron and Sky Moreau. She also leaves her sister Judith Trudeau and her husband Jake of Ware and her brother David Hart of Brookfield.  She was born in Ware, daughter of the late Clyde M. and Amelia (Puski) Hart.  She and Mickey lived in Brookfield for nearly 50 years prior, to moving to West Brookfield, then to West Warren.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  

In addition to being a homemaker and raising her family, Faith worked as a hairdresser at the salon at J.C. Penny in Sturbridge.  She enjoyed reading, and also worked as a library aide in the Brookfield Library for several years.  She loved collecting owls and angels and was rarely seen without both being pinned to her clothing.  She enjoyed watching the birds at her feeder, doing crossword puzzles, and spent countless weekends going to flea markets with her husband.  She adored her grandchildren and spending time with them was her favorite thing.

Faith belonged to the DAV in West Brookfield.

She was much loved and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

At her request, funeral services for Faith will be held privately.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to DAV:Disabled American Veterans of West Brookfield, 54 Eagle Street, Ware, MA, 01082.
