Gail M. (Wheeler) Nelson

Ware - Gail M. (Wheeler) Nelson of Ware passed away peacefully with her brother by her side on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center. Born in Milford, MA to the late Walter C. and Jeannette R. M. (Henault) Wheeler on May 12, 1945.

She leaves her husband of 38 years, Stanley E. Nelson, her daughters, Laura Nehls and husband Stephen of Imperial, MO and Dawn Swistak and husband Peter of Warren; her brother, Walter A. Wheeler and wife Teresa of Auburn, niece, Jeanelle Wheeler, her beloved granddaughters, Haileigh and Brooke Swistak; as well as her step-grandchildren, Ashley Casagrand, Stephen Casagrand-Nehls, Victoria Nehls, and Shelley Nehls. She also leaves her beloved cat, Frankie.

Before retiring, Gail was a proud home health aide, a loving mother and devoted wife. She also loved traveling, especially to Vermont, being a meemaw, and spending time with her family.

A celebration of life for Gail will be held at a later date.
