Ware - Gerald R. “Gerry” Ledoux, 68, of Ware, died on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at his home.
He leaves his long-time friend and former wife, Susan L. (Rees) Ledoux of Palmer; his step-sons, William H. Isch, and Jason N. Isch; his sisters, Carol-Ann Nelson and her husband David of Enfield, CT, and Rachel P. King and her husband Edward of Springfield; his brother, Charles Ledoux and his wife Karen of Winsted, CT, and his step-mother, Dora Ledoux. He also leaves his very close and long-time best friend, Gary Mazza, and was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Gerard A. Cloutier with whom he was also very close. He was born in Springfield, the son of the late Jerard A. and Laurette A. (Bisson) Ledoux.
When he was younger, Gerry was a student at the Devereux School from which he held many fond memories. He worked at American Bosch in Chicopee/Springfield for 13 years before becoming a delivery truck driver for Mapleleaf Distribution Services in Bondsville. Gerry always held his faith close and was a former member of the Bethany Assembly of God Church in Agawam. He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially around the local waterways and woods.
A Funeral Service for Gerry will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 10:30AM in the Bethany Assembly of God Church, 580 Main St., in Agawam. Burial will be in Springfield Street Cemetery in Feeding Hills following the service. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 7PM on Monday, September 18, 2023, in the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St., in Ware.
