West Brookfield - Jacob M. Para, 19, of West Brookfield died unexpectedly on Friday, May 28, 2021 at his home.
He leaves his parents, Daniel and Jennifer Para; his two brothers, Daniel Para and Bryan Para; his grandparents, Robert Fierro and his wife Frann, Gayle Fierro, Richard Para and his wife Tina, and Debra Parker and her husband Stephen; his aunts and uncles, Crystal Cooper and her husband Carl, Robert Fierro, John Paquette, Bridgette Yanez, Eric Para and his wife Latoya, Shane Para and his wife Wendi, Rachel King and her husband Sam, as well as many cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his aunt Hollie Paquette.
He graduated from Quaboag Regional High School in 2019, and was very active in band, theater, track and football.
Jacob worked as a Personal Care Attendant, caring for his grandmother.
He was a creative soul and played many instruments including the drums, keyboard and the guitar. Jake was very active in the performing arts in high school as well as participating in plays at the Barre Players and Ware Community Theaters, he also took dance lessons at Betty Gunderson Dance Studio.
A Funeral Service for Jake will be held privately. Calling hours will be held Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 3 to 5PM, at Varnum Funeral Home, 43 East Main Street in West Brookfield. Burial will be Friday, June 4, 2021 at 11AM in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Southbridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jacob’s name to Quaboag Regional High School Music Department, 284 Old West Brookfield Road, Warren, MA, 01083.
