Brookfield - Julie A. Dorval, 70, of Brookfield, died on Thursday, November 11, 2021, passing away after a determined fight with Multiple Sclerosis.
She leaves her three sons, Kevin Cone and wife Stacie of Virginia, Joshua and Jonathan Cone of Brookfield, granddaughter Delaney and grandson Keagan of Virginia, and brothers John, James, Joe and Matt. She was the daughter of the late George F. and Shiela M. (Triggs) Dorval. She is also preceded in death by her brothers Peter, Paul and Mark.
Julie received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts and her Master’s Degree in Childhood Education from Anna Maria College. She enjoyed a long career as an Art teacher at Hardwick Elementary School until becoming ill, and continued her love of photography, painting and crafts throughout her remaining years.
A Funeral Mass for Julie will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 10AM at St. Mary Church, Lincoln St., in Brookfield. There are no calling hours and everyone is asked to meet at the church. Burial will be in Brookfield Cemetery following mass.
