June Grant, 95

Brookfield – June (Donald) Grant, 95, of Nanatomqua Dr., died Monday, February 22, 2016 at the Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in West Brookfield.

She leaves two sons, James Grant and his wife Sandra of East Brookfield and Raymond Grant and his wife Marilyn of Cordova, TN; four grandchildren, Corey Grant, Kirk Grant, Christopher Grant and Heather Petruzzi; ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, James S. Grant in 1993.  She was born and grew up in Scotland and lived 40 years in East Brookfield before moving to Brookfield in 1987.

Mrs. Grant worked for many years at the former Klevin Shoe Co. and then for the Ed Weber Marking Systems, Inc. in Leicester as the office manager before retiring in 1983.

A Funeral Service for June will be held on Monday, February 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield.  A calling hour will be held prior to the service from 10 to 11 AM in the funeral home.  Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in East Brookfield.
