Lizbeth "Beth" Pease Obituary

On Thursday, May 13, 2021, Lizbeth “Beth” Mary Pease, loving wife and mother of two children, passed away at the age of 62.  Beth was born on March 15, 1959 in Boston to James and Barbara Power. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Worcester State College in 1985.   She worked in the Boston financial district until moving to West Brookfield in 1995, where she took a position as a CNA at Mary Lane Hospital.  Beth retired in 2017 after 13 years with the hospital.  On September 30, 1989, she married Wayne Allen Pease. Together, they raised their son Camden James and daughter Taima Lea Pease.

Beth could light up any room and to know her was to love her.  Her laughter was frequent and infectious and her compassion and empathy endeared her to all those who knew her.  A beautiful and dedicated wife and mother who would do anything for friends and family.  Beth worked hard and played hard and enjoyed travelling with her husband and children and going out to eat with her family was a frequent source of enjoyment.  Beth was one of eight children and both her parents came from large families.  Being with her extended family was a source of great joy for Beth.  These qualities allowed her adult children, family, and friends to stay close as they got older and the frequent game nights and weekend get-togethers with her children, friends and family brought Beth the greatest satisfaction in her retirement.  A true Pisces by nature, Beth loved being at and near the ocean and in the water.

She was predeceased by her parents Barbara Power and James “Hockey” Power and her sister Barbara “Barbie” Power.  In addition to Wayne, Camden and Taima, she is survived by her six siblings, Jimmy, Stephen, Kathy, Tommy, Billy, and David Power, as well as her niece Kara Tobin and nephew Derek Power.
