Lynne R. (Williamson) Dunham

Warren - Lynne R. (Williamson) Dunham, 62, formerly of West Brookfield died Tuesday, July 11, 2017 after being stricken ill at home.

She leaves one brother, Mark Williamson and his wife Carol Ann of West Brookfield; one sister, Brenda Ziehl and her husband Gerald of West Brookfield; five nephews and a niece, Jeremy, Eric, Adam, Ian, Kane and Sophie; four great nieces and nephews and many cousins.  Her love of her life, Steve Szabo died in 2011.  She was born in Ware daughter of the late Melvin C. and Nina H. (Robinson) Williamson and grew up in West Brookfield.

Lynne was a canine trainer for 35 years before retiring in 2013.

She was the director of Northern Virginia Sheltie Rescue and Dogwood Sheltie Rescue from 1998 to 2013 in which 98% of all dogs placed in new homes remained with their new families.  She also enjoyed doing watercolors.

A Graveside Service for Lynne will be held at a later date in Pine Grove Cemetery in West Brookfield.  There are no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Northern Virginia Sheltie Rescue, 977 Seminole Trail, PMB 314, Charlottesville, VA 22901.  Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield is assisting her family with arrangements.
