Marilyn G. (Pratt) Griffin

West Warren - Marilyn G. (Pratt) Griffin, 69, of West Warren died on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at home surrounded by those she loved.

She leaves her beloved husband of 24 years, Robert Griffin; her brother, Kevin J. Pratt and his wife Sandy Lachance of East Brookfield; her sisters-in-law, Sandy Pratt of Brookfield,  Tammy Riley Medulan and her husband Mike of Southlake, TX, Ann M. Allen and her husband Mike of Barre, Elizabeth Selanis and her husband Christopher of Athol;  nieces, Alexandra Riley, Krystal Hart and her husband Elmer, Kelsey Allen, Karson Allen, Delaney Selanis, Kelly Chabot and her husband Joe and Jenny Lee Pratt; nephews, Craig Riley, Kristopher Selanis, Zachary Pratt and his wife Lauren; great- niece, Katie Pratt; great-nephew, Ian Smith as well as a great-great niece, Maeve Lilla Allen and great-great nephew, Killian Luippold.  She was predeceased by her brother William Pratt.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late William  and  Gertrude (Killian) Pratt.

Marilyn was a graduate of Tantasqua High School and continued her education with an Associates Degree from STCC in Springfield.  After graduating, she worked at Lincoln House of Fabrics in Sturbridge, then for 27 years at the William E. Wright Co. in West Warren, she also worked at Reliant Medical for 8 years in Worcester before retiring.

She was a loving and devoted wife, sister, aunt and friend.   She enjoyed working with ceramics, was a talented seamstress and loved traveling and going on adventures with her husband Bob.  She loved being outside mowing and gardening.  Marilyn never met a stranger, she met friends everywhere she went, and she will be missed by all of those who knew her.

The family would like to thank the staff at Overlook Hospice and to the doctors and nurses at UMass Medical Center for their compassion and care over the years.
