Mathew J. Oliver

West Brookfield - Mathew J. Oliver, 37, of West Brookfield died on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at his home.

He leaves his mother, Brenda L. (Miner) Oliver of West Brookfield; his grandparents, Gary and Carol Miner of West Brookfield; a sister, Ashley Williams of West Warren; his aunt, Robin Dupuis of West Brookfield, cousins, Michaela and Ryan Dupuis of West Brookfield; two nieces, Jamie and Lexi Williams, his nephew, Mason Williams, as well as his brother-in-law, Bill Williams of North Brookfield, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.  He was born in Ware, son of Brenda L. (Miner) Oliver and the late Mark W. Oliver.  He was a life-long resident of West Brookfield. 

Mathew graduated from Quaboag Regional High School, and worked in gas station construction for several years with the former Smith & LaMountain Service Corp in Monson. He grew up on Lake Wickaboag, and loved the water, including boating and swimming.  He also enjoyed golfing and being with his friends.

Services for  Matt will be held privately.  Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., in West Brookfield is assisting his family with arrangements.
