Michael F. Roberts

Michael F. Roberts, 70, of Ware, died on Friday, July 7, 2023. Born in Springfield on August 14, 1952, Mike was the fifth son of late Henry and Anne (Knox) Roberts.

He is survived by the love of his life, Monita (Godin) Roberts, to whom he was married for 51 years. Michael also leaves a daughter, Tamika Dwyer and husband Barry of Three Rivers, a son, Joseph Roberts and wife Lauren of Palatine IL, grandchildren, Jocelyn Ross, Kierstyn Ross, Jacob Dwyer and Kasey Dwyer all of Three Rivers; a sister, Patricia Gootzit and her husband Gary of Westfield, a brother, James J. Roberts and his wife Paula Caira of Washington, D.C., sister-in-laws, Cynthia Durej and her husband Steven of East Longmeadow and Lisa Goodrow and her husband Ronald of Springfield; as well as many beloved nephews, nieces and friends. Mike was predeceased by his brothers, John Roberts, William Roberts, Thomas Roberts, Joseph Roberts; a sister-in-law, Judy and her husband Edward Olko, and a brother-in-law, Bruce Godin and his wife Judy.

Mike had a long and successful career as the manager of the HVAC department at Western New England College.

He had a love for music, especially the Rolling Stones. Mike was also drawn to history with a focus on World War II. Most of all, he will be remembered for his caring and thoughtful ways, and love for his family.  Always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
