Mildred A. (Allen) Aiken

Warren - Mildred A. (Allen) Aiken, 87, of Warren passed away at home on Saturday, April 22, 2023.

She leaves her daughters, Tina Ackerman and her husband William of West Warren and Joyce Kibbe of West Warren; her sons, Michael Aiken of Ware and Kenneth Aiken of West Warren; her grandchildren, Kimberly Ackerman, Heather Aiken-Porter, Katrina Martin and her husband Jon and Sarah Guillotte;  and her great grandchildren, Dyllan Martin, Conner Martin and Saharah Ackerman. Mildred was predeceased by her husband, William J. Aiken and her son William H. Aiken. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT,  daughter of the late William H. and Lena H. (Possardt) Allen on July 5, 1935.

Mildred was a social butterfly, loved going out to breakfast and most importantly, spending time with family and friends. When she was alone, she enjoyed doing word searches and reading books. Before working as a cashier for 15 years at Walmart, she worked 28 years as a machine operator at Aquatic Plastic. 

A Graveside Service for Mildred will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 1:30pm in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Maple Street in Warren. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Hosptial, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA, 01104, or Boston’s Children Hosptial Trust, 401 Park Dr., Suite 602, Boston, MA, 02115.
