Patricia A. (Foley) Carroll

Patricia  (Foley) Carroll, 93, longtime resident of Ware, MA, died February 18, 2020 at Falmouth Hospital surrounded by her loving family. “Patsy” was predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years, John E Carroll (2013), and daughter Barbara Carroll-Kmon(1999).
 

A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother she leaves behind 5 children, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren: 
John Carroll (wife Cheryl) of Ware, MA and sons Scott and Matthew, Eleanor Brillon (husband Richard) of York, ME, Elizabeth Carroll-Goss (husband Charles) of Madbury, NH, Patricia “Amy” Carroll of Pocasset, MA, Mary Szlosek (husband Joseph) of Hopkinton, MA and daughters Allison and Amanda, and grandsons Nicholas and Joseph Kmon of MD.

Patsy was born in Boston on February 26, 1926 to Charles and Eleanor (Croxen) Foley. She was a member of a large, close family and is survived by   siblings Eleanor Glimp of Cambridge, MA, Kate Feldstein of Belmont, MA, and Charles F­­oley of North Falmouth, MA. She was predeceased by her brother James Foley (2012).

She was a graduate of Framingham State College and over the years worked as a substitute teacher, hospital dietitian and even a census taker, but her most cherished role was that of mother and grandmother. Known for her wide open heart, friendly smile and warm hugs, her passing leaves a giant hole in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A private service and burial will be held.
