Obituary

Ware - Pauline Elizabeth (Bisnette) Gaudette passed away peacefully on December 21, 2020.  She was the cherished wife of Wilfred Gaudette.  Prior to Wilfred’s passing in 2013, they had spent 56 years of marriage together.

 

Pauline was born in Belchertown and grew up in Palmer, Massachusetts, graduating from Palmer High School in 1952.  She moved to Ware in 1956 where she and Wilfred lived and raised their three children.

 

She worked in the offices at Tambrands, Ware Knitters, and Wm. E. Wright Company, before accepting her last position in the Sales Department at Warren Pump Inc., where she retired in 1994.  After retiring, Pauline volunteered at the Mary Lane Hospital Auxiliary, the Ware Senior Center, and TRIAD.  She was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella.

 

Pauline was predeceased by eight of her siblings, Wallace, Hazel, Alice, Clarence, Raymond, Gertrude, Eleanor, and Alfred.  She leaves behind one sister, Evelyn Banach of Palmer. She is survived by her three children, Mark Gaudette and his wife Sherron of Belchertown, Paula Perrier and her husband Alan of Ware, and Patricia Pittsley and her partner Jeffrey Desreuisseau of Ware.  She adored her eight grandchildren, Susan Cunningham, Steve Aldrich and his wife Lauren, Sarah Miller and her husband Jeremy, Jeffrey Gaudette, Samantha Dougan and her husband Michael, Maxwell Pittsley, Jillian Pittsley and Hannah Pittsley.  She especially loved being a great-grandmother to her five great grandchildren, Karlie Aldrich, Caitlin Cunningham, Lucas Miller, Camille Miller and Elena Dougan.

 

The family would like to thank the staff at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in West Brookfield and Compassus of Auburn for her compassionate care for the past few months.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Ware Senior Center, 1 Robbins Rd., Ware, MA 01082.  Checks should be made out to the Town of Ware, and mailed to the Senior Center.  Services for Pauline will be held privately, followed by burial in New Saint William Cemetery.
