Robert G. Davis

Warren - Robert G. Davis, 67, a long-time resident of Warren, died on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at his home with his family by his side.

He leaves his wife, Sherri A. (Mundell) Davis; his sons, Matthew Davis and his wife Katie of Petersham, and Robert Davis, Jr. of Warren; his granddaughter, McKenzie; his siblings, Rebecca Davis, Elaine Davis, Gregory Davis and Rev. Cliff Davis. He was predeceased by his sisters, Carolyn Davis and Louise Martineau, and his brother, Peter Davis. He was born in Ware, son of the late John C. and Willa (Morse) Davis.

Bob worked for several years as a machine operator for Starrex, Inc. in Warren.

As an active member of the Pilgrim Baptist Church, Bob had great faith in the Lord. Despite his illness, he kept his faith and his sense of humor. He also enjoyed collecting fossils and being part of the Ware Grange and attending the Hardwick Fair where he won ribbons for his collection.  Together, he and Sherri spent many wonderful family vacations traveling throughout New England and New York.  He also was an avid fisherman of the local lakes around the area.

A Funeral Service for Bob will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, August 5, 2023 in the Pilgrim Baptist Church, 33 West Brookfield Road in North Brookfield.  A calling hour will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 in the church prior to the service.  Burial will be in Southeast Cemetery in New Braintree.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made the Here Today Adopted Tomorrow Animal Sanctuary, P.O Box 557, Brimfield, MA 01010 or to the Autism Foundation, at https://www.autism-foundation.org/
