Robert W. Heim

North Brookfield - Robert W. “Bob” Heim, of North Brookfield, died on Thursday, November 26, 2020, at his home with his loving wife by his side.

He leaves his wife of 14 years, Jean C. Ricardi; his two daughters, Carol Anne Polincandriotes and Susan Heim, and many former friends. 

Mr. Heim was a United States Air Force veteran serving in both the Korean and the Vietnam Wars.  After leaving the Air Force, he was able to use his many talents in a variety of occupations.  He also worked in the factory at Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford for several years. 

Bob was an easy-going guy who could make friends easily.  During his later years, he enjoyed taking up ballooning as an adventurous hobby.

He was a former member of St. Joseph’s Church in North Brookfield.

A Funeral Mass for Robert will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 10AM in St. John the Baptist Church, 131 Blaine Avenue, East Brookfield. There are no calling hours, and everyone should meet at the church. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in North Brookfield in the spring.  In accordance with the current Covid-19 Massachusetts guidelines, masks must be worn while in church and social distance guidelines must be followed.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
