Robert Hoisington Obituary

Ware- Bob Hoisington, 69 of Ware passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at Baystate Medical Center.

He leaves his wife of 29 years, Kathy of Ware, his daughters, Holly Hoisington and her boyfriend Telmo Costa, Jennifer DiRuzza; his son, Dan Daigle and his girl friend Corey Rosner Davilli of Agawam.  His 3 sisters, Carol Brouwer and her husband Bill, Lynn Baker and her husband Dick and Sara Bombara and her husband Dennis.  He was born in Worcester, son of the late Robert F. Hoisington and Norma (Brown) Hoisington.  He also leaves his beloved pets, Ezra, Juneau and Spooky.  Plus many other in-laws, nieces and nephews

Bob was an auto body mechanic who had a love for vehicles and making them look like new again.  He could be found at Janine’s Frosty annual car show, participating as a Judge for the past several years.

Bob also had an affinity for basketball.  He enjoyed playing, coaching and mentoring kids of all ages.  For many years he would reserve the middle school gym two days a week.  Anyone who wanted to come was welcomed; giving an outlet for kids and adults no matter what was going on at home, school or work.  They could enjoy time playing a sport that they love and he always made sure every child got home safely. He was also an avid Raiders football fan.  No matter what he was doing he always had a Mountain Dew at hand.

Due to the current public health concerns, a Celebration of Life for Bob will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Second Chance Animal Shelter, 372 N. Main St, North Brookfield, MA  01535.
