Warren - Robert A. McEachern, 75, of Warren, died on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center.
He leaves his wife of 50 years, Angie E. (Panzera) McEachern; his daughter, Dora Anne Day and her husband Frank of Warren, as well as his sister, Marilynn Standhope of Providence, RI and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Chrissy in 1997 and his sister, Jackie Staff last year. He was born in Brockton, son of the late Donald and Adelaide L. (Pollock) McEachern.
Mr. McEachern was a United States Marine Corps. Veteran of the Vietnam War serving 2 tours in southeast Asia.
Following his military service, Robert worked at Optivac in Southbridge as a machinist.
Together with Angie, they enjoyed being foster parents for 15 years, fostering 34 children. He was a member of Christian Motorcycle Association, and enjoyed singing in the choir at the Upper Room Christian Fellowship Church in West Warren.
A Funeral Service for Bob will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 10:30am in the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St. in West Brookfield. A calling hour will be held from 9:30 to 10:30am prior to the service. Burial with Military Honors will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery in Warren following the service.
