Shayne A. Mathieson, 46

West Brookfield – Shayne A. Mathieson, 46, of New Braintree Road, died suddenly on Thursday, December 22, 2016 while out Christmas shopping. 

He leaves his loving wife of 12 years, Malinda K. (Bermudez); his son, Adam C. Mathieson at home; his parents, William Mathieson of Marlboro, and Belinda Rowlingson Blake of West Brookfield; a brother, Darryl Mathieson and his wife Cindy of Hazel Green, Alabama; a sister Kerry Mathieson of Tacoma, Washington; his brother from another mother, Paul Derrick, and several nieces, nephews, uncles, and cousins.  Shayne was born in Berlin, Germany, and lived in San Bernardino, CA, and Spain in his early years.  He always loved West Brookfield, and that is where he resided and called home. 

Shayne has been a motorcycle enthusiast since he was a teen, and was the Northeast Regional Sales Representative for Tucker Rocky Distribution, a leading distributor of motorcycle and ATV aftermarket parts, accessories and apparel.  He loved life, and lived it to the fullest.   He enjoyed riding motorcycles, taking rides to Curtis’ Ribs in Vermont, where his love of smoking ribs came about, and enjoyed playing golf with his buddies.  His greatest loves though were his wife Malinda, and son Adam, whom he cherished more than life itself.  He was the greatest son, husband, and father, and we were so blessed to call him ours…

A Funeral Service for Shayne will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 6:00PM in the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield.  Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 4:00 to 6:00PM in the funeral home.  Flowers may be sent, or Memorial Donations made to the:  Adam C.
