Susan M. Towne, 69

West Brookfield / West Warren – Susan M. Towne, 69, of Main Street died Friday, March 3, 2017 in Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.

She leaves her sisters, Karen Merrill and her husband David of Warren, Lisa Lowe and her husband Christopher of Gloucester, and Sandra Lefevre and her husband Ralph of North Brookfield; her brother, Kevin Towne and his wife Judy of Warren; as well as several nieces and nephews, her special cousin Beverly Russell, and her friends at The Bridge in West Brookfield.  She was born in Ware, daughter of the late Robert and Elinor (Titus) Towne, and lived in Warren and West Warren most of her life, prior to moving to West Brookfield six years ago. 

Susan liked going to the library and reading, and also enjoyed shopping, watching movies, doing jigsaw puzzles, and watching television – especially soap operas and the Ellen Show. 

Susan’s family would like to thank Dr. Anthony Acquista and the staff at Baystate Wing and Mary Lane Hospitals for all of the care they provided for her. 

A Graveside Service for Susan will be held in the spring in Pine Grove Cemetery in Warren.
