Theresa I. (Bourgault) Deslongchamp

Theresa I. (Bourgault) Deslongchamp, 95, of Ware, died on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center.

She leaves her son, Paul Deslongchamp and his wife Jacqueline of Hardwick as well as 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Gaston in 2012 as well as their son, Robert, and she was the last of her nine siblings. She was born in Ware, daughter of the late Henri  and Clara  Berthiaume and was a life-long resident of the town.

In addition to being a homemaker, Theresa worked as a stitcher at Seven Sisters for several years. 

Her faith was very important to her, and she credited her long and well fulfilled life to God. She was a member of All Saint’s Church in Ware, and the former Mount Carmel Church.

A Funeral Mass for Theresa will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 10AM in All Saint’s Church, 17 North Street in Ware.  There are no calling hours and everyone should meet at the church.  Burial will be in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery following mass.
