Victoria M. (Bates-Gee) Chisholm-Dally

Brookfield - Victoria M. (Bates-Gee) Chisholm-Dally, 80, of Brookfield and formerly of Warren, died on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at her home.

She leaves her daughters, Robin Richard and her husband Frank of Brookfield, and Rebeca Taylor of Oxford, as well as three grandchildren, Max, Isaac and Sage. She was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Daniel R. Dally just last year, and her brother, Thomas H. Gee. She was born in Orange, New Jersey, daughter of the late Carl Bates and Annie G. (Garcia).

Victoria was a graduate of Wellesley Highschool, attended Wellesley College and Quinsigamond College in Worcester before heading off to San Francisco in the 60’s to experience all the world had to offer.

Victoria worked for many years at the former Southbridge Evening News writing the Religion Page, and in the offices Wright’s Ribbons, her last place of employment was as a records Clerical Aide at the Behavior 1--Health Network for several years.

She was a devoted mother to her girls and exceptional gramma to her grandchildren whom she loved more than anything always there for any sports activities, band event, school concert or swimming lesson they had. She was a lover of black kitties and all things nature, feeding her birds and all the little critters that ventured into her yard, she loved to garden and for many years made her own jam with her girls. Vicki loved her lord and was always there to extend help to anyone who needed it, she was a kind and gentle soul with a beautiful smile and sense of humor that will truly be missed by all that knew her. We love you Mum till we see you again.

At her request, her services will be held privately.
