Brookfield – Wilma J. (Guertin) Lincoln, 84, died peacefully on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.
She leaves three sons, Russell Lincoln of Wyoming, David Lincoln of Brookfield and Daniel Lincoln of Magnolia, OH; her daughter, Darlene Ernst of Webster; a brother, Rodney Lechert of Webster; two sisters, Joyce Barrows of Grosvernor Dale, CT and Linda Guertin of Philadelphia, PA; twelve grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard R. Lincoln and two siblings, David E. Guertin, Jr and Loretta Corriveau. She was born in Northbridge, daughter of the late David E. Guertin and Janet (Tellier) Guertin Halloran and grew up in Webster and lived most of her life in Brookfield.
Wilma worked at TJ Maxx in Worcester for 20 years, before retiring in 2004.
She had a passion for horses but her real love was her family which she cherished deeply.
Wilma was a member of the Sturbridge Worship Center.
Wilma’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Tri Valley Hospice and the personal care attendants for their loving care.
A Graveside service for Wilma will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 2PM in the Brookfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA, 02452 or www.alz.org.
