Zachary W. Pierce

North Brookfield - Zachary W. Pierce, 30, of North Brookfield died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at home.

He leaves his beloved children, Joseph and Autumn and their mother, Elizabeth Krasnecky; his parents, Brian E. and Janet A. (Graves) Pierce of New Braintree; his brother, Jeremy Pierce of Brookfield; his grandparents, Barbara Pierce of North Brookfield, Evelyn and Robert Blake of Naples, Florida, and Georgia Graves of Barre; his uncle and godfather, Thomas and Jennifer Graves of Worcester, his uncle, Kevin and Brooke Graves of Hubbardston, his uncle, Aaron and Alicia Graves of Barre, his uncle, Michael and Kathy Amidio of Oakham, his uncle, Joseph and Mary Amidio of Oakham, his uncle, David and Michelle Blake of West Yarmouth, his aunt, Jennifer Amidio of Rutland, and his godmother, Paulette Kendall of Anson, Maine, as well as his many cousins.  He was predeceased by his two grandfathers, Edward Pierce and Thomas Graves, and his aunt Debra Blake of Eastham.  

He was a graduate of Quabbin Regional High School, class of 2009.

Zachary was active with both the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of America in his youth. He was also a junior member of the Barre Sportmens Club.  Zachary had an adventurous spirit.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as spending time with his children whom he adored.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 15, 2021 from 4 to 6PM in Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main Street, West Brookfield. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date. Masks must be worn and social distancing guidelines must be followed while in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Barre Sportmens Club for the Youth Activity Fund, P.O. Box 111, Barre, MA  01005.
