Mrs Bene and family, i am so sorry to hear about Joe's passing. I had the privilege and pleasure of working with Joe and calling him my friend. What I admired most was his friendly positive attitude. He discussed his family many times and you could clearly see his love and pride for all of you . I will really miss him,

Eileen, Chris, Scott, and Michele, Joanie are shocked to hear of Joe's sudden passing. Words are inadequate to express the sadness we feel. We understand many are with you to support you in your grieving process. Joe brought many gifts and much happiness to all who knew him. He will have a special spot in our hearts forever. May God hold him in the palm of his hand and may your hearts and souls find peace, comfort, and courage in the days ahead.

From the first time I met Joe and Eileen at Villa Estates they have made me feel like a part of their family. Who knew that friendship would lead to so many memorable times and bring us to Long Valley, Revere, sailing on the Boston Harbor with Steve Reardon, UNH, Vermont and Nantucket as well as many dinners together at the lake. As I began to have grandchildren Joe was always interested in them and their activities as well as including them into their family. This was also the case when Joe and Eileen started to have grandchildren of their own. Joe was a special and unique soul and my life is better having had the opportunity to be a part of his, I will miss him his humor, his dedication to family and friends, and his his infectious laugh. I will treasure all he has done to help make my life fuller having know him .

Growing up I was privileged to be raised in a large family with five brothers and my sister, Marian, the last of seven children. We learned, we played, and we helped one another developing a lasting family loyalty.
At the age of twenty five, I joined the Villa Estates family and developed two new life long brotherly relationships with Tony Brescia and Joe Bene. Our common bond was developed by our love to build, remodel and repair our rustic cabins into what has become our now modern homes with all the amenities of a luxurious estate.
Life was never the same after Tony’s premature passing but the loss of Tony worked to fortify my relationship with Joe. That relationship went far beyond just good neighbors. We had countless common interests and never lacked for conversation. Just to name a few: to maximize our property’s potential, our love of sports, our love and commitment to our grandchildren, and most importantly our desire to enjoy each day to its fullest.
Susan and Eileen came to realize and accept how much Joe and I enjoyed taking on projects together (big and small) from building the house in Vermont to taking on Michelle and Drew’s major addition to the second floor of their beautiful home. Just as I was gifted to have a great family growing up as a child, I was beyond fortunate to have Joe in my life for the last 37 years. Joe’s loss is irreplaceable but all the happy times and memories will live on forever in my eyes. Eileen, you can rest assure that I will be there for you just as I know Joe would be for Susan.
