So sorry to hear of Chipper's passing. He was a fantastic father to our son. He served the town of West Brookfield with pride and devotion. His commitment to the United States was full throttle! He loved the military and the people he served with. God Bless his soul and may God help his family heal.

ALWAYS A SAD DAY WHEN WE LOSE A MAN WHO PROTECTED OUR COUNTRY AND OUR COMMUNITY. SADDER WHEN THAT MAN IS SOMEONE YOU SHARED YOUR LIFE WITH. CHIPPER WAS A MEMBER OF MY FAMILY AND WAS VERY KIND TO MY MOTHER AND FATHER. HE WAS ALWAYS THERE WITHOUT HESITATION WHEN EVER WE NEEDED HELP. AND AS FAR AS I CAN REMEMBER HE HAD THE FASTEST BAD ASS CAR IN WEST BROOKFIELD BACK IN THE 70s. I LOVE YOU CHIPPER REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND AND THANK YOU.

My heart is heavy with sorrow. Chipper was my brother-in-law when I was a young girl and into adulthood. He was a solid male role model, for which I was and continue to feel blessed to have had in my life. Chipper guided me with my confidence, direction, and ability to achieve an advanced degree in teaching. I was unsure of how to do something that seemed unattainable and Chipper was the force beneath my wings. I have always felt a deep respect and love for him. Life moved on and we went our separate ways causing a disconnection with our story, but I am sure all that knew him felt his genuine "big" heart. My sympathies are extended to his wife, son, stepchildren, and all he touched.
